Existing
Industries
The Existing Industries committee ensures that existing business
and industry are properly appreciated with an Industry Appreciation
Golf Tournament during South Carolina Industry Appreciation
Week. |

Ally
Appreciation
The Ally Appreciation committee ensures that all allies to the
Central SC Alliance staff are recognized at the "Big Thursday"
Ally Appreciation Oyster Roast in the fall of each year. |

International
Committee
The International Committee assists the Central SC Region in
international economic development by supporting existing businesses
and organizations in the region; networking with international
institutions; organizations and individuals, both within the
region and externally. The International Committee hosts an
International Reception in the spring of every other year. This
event gives the international companies an opportunity to meet
their other international neighbors. All foreign owned companies
are honored at this event. The Midlands International Ambassador
of the Year is also honored at this time. The International
Flags flying at the entrance to our offices are supported by
the Committee of 100. These flags represent foreign investments
in the Central SC Region. |

Membership
Committee
The Membership Committee assures that membership in the Committee
of 100 is perceived as a valuable commodity by providing quality
membership meetings and an annual meeting. The committee is
also charged with retaining existing members and recruiting
new members to ensure that adequate financial support is available
for the region's economic development programs in our twelve
county area. |
